We will endeavour to delight you with more about some of the acts that will be appearing at Festival of Sins: Wrath.

Yusura Hime is an international sensation, renown across Europe and in her homeland, Japan, for her bondage and wax shows.  Her extreme alter ego persona envelopes and draws you into her world.  Deftly combining eroticism and superbly deft skill, the petite beautiful performer combines the many facets of her Japanese heritage and her European experiences - bringing a new twist to each show.  She also knows how to entrance in a more coquettish fashion.  Have you seen the videos of her Lady Gaga-inspired extravaganza enveloped in a cloud of white (an outfit made with her own hands)?  Or her Geisha portraiture?  Photographed by many highly respected photographers, Yusura's body is covered with sensational, detailed tattoos in a traditional Japanese style (something still virtually unheard of in Japan).  Yusura herself is beautiful inside as well as out, like a rose in full bloom (with seductively sharp thorns!).

Yusura's website explains that in 2006, she became an officially registered artist with the global circus company, Cirque du Soleil.  In 2007, she featured on the cover of a tattoo calendar, which became the best selling ever in the world.  She has performed for Tim Burton.  A photo session in Berlin has become a documentary movie.to session took place in Berlin and has grown into a documentary movie.

At Festival of Sins: Wrath, Yusura will be performing her trademark wax show.  She has explained to us that this requires very precise preparation and particular props.  A certain number of very long, very hot candles.  Tied together.  Nothing else will do.  She adores the sensation of wax on the skin, finding this a near ethereal orgasmic experience.  Don't miss it and many other treats in store.

StripLite - Shoreditch’s Bank Holiday special for Comedy; Cabaret & Kink

On Sunday 29^th August, Hoxton Square’s hottest live venue ‘Underbelly’ plays host to a bank holiday special night of Comedy; Cabaret & Kink with StripLite.

StripLite, the sister-event to London’s leading alternative night Festival of Sins, brings the crème of the open-mic comedy circuit and the best-known burlesque and cabaret names to Hoxton Square for a one-off spectacular before returning to its usual Friday night slot.

Brandishing a debauched 6am license, entertainment from the biggest names in cabaret and burlesque, such as Fifi Fatale and Miss Honey Bare, is masterfully compéred by the resplendent Manchester cabaret star Mister J. All interwoven with comedy provided by the likes of leading circuit veteran David Mills, whom has most recently toured with Scott Capurro’s Position interviewing talents as diverse as Dame Vivienne Westwood and Boy George.

As a further treat, August’s StripLite sees the return of Young Magician of the Year 2005 and IBM Close-Up Champion Steve Dela as Mr. Snuggles – the dark magician clown that both terrifies and delights with astounding displays of close-up one-to-one magic.

Striplite’s music comes from the eclectic styles of resident DJ’sLacing Lilith and David de Vynél, with special guest DJs DJ Stix of Electric Dreams, London’s longest running Alternative 80’s club, Dave Disaster, the musical spine of South London’s alt event ‘Antichrist’ and Simon Iridum, one of the biggest names in the UK alternative scene.

As if any more reasons for attendance were needed there are free cupcakes from Tsu-Metamorphosis Designs; exclusive 7 Deadly Sins cocktails and a multitude of professional kink demonstrations, including aerial & suspension displays, completing a night of premium alternative entertainment that runs from 8pm until 6am at a cost of only six pounds per person.
